Excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to develop their design and engineering skills, while working on real-world engineering projects.

If you are a Junior Design Engineer or Graduate Engineer looking to kick-start or progress your career in design engineering this would be a fantastic opportunity for you!

You will work closely with experienced Design Engineer, gaining hands-on exposure to the full design lifecycle, from concept through to production within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This Design Engineer job will suit:

Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor experience advantageous but not essential).
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A proactive attitude with a genuine eagerness to learn and develop within the engineering field.
You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree) in a mechanical engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.

This Design Engineer job will involve:

Support the design and development of new products and components.
Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
Support engineering projects with documentation, data management, and technical records.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other departments to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
