Any prior experience of selling into the UK rail sector or selling products that are electrical / control systems / SCADA / systems engineering focused would be beneficial but not essential. Account Manager responsibilities: You will be responsible for leading all proactive business development and account management of a mature revenue stream worth £3m-£5m on an annual basis. You will be selling electrical / control / systems engineering products into the UK rail industry. Proactively drive new business activities to win new orders and new customers. Build, lead, and maintain strong customer relationships with new and existing customers). Grow the order book through targeting long term sustainable revenue growth. You will be working as part of a successful team of business development and bid / proposal professionals. The role will involve frequent UK travel to customer sites (70% of customers are based in the South East of England). On average you are likely to spend 1 day per week working from the sales, projects, and engineering office based in Leicestershire.
