This CAD Designer / Design Engineer job will suit:

Previous experience of working within a CAD Design Engineer / CAD Designer / CAD Design focused position in a mechanical engineering or civil engineering environment.
Previous experience of using CAD software packages such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit or similar 2D/3D CAD packages.
You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree) in a mechanical engineering, civil engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and conscientious about the work they produce, leading by example with good attention to detail.

This CAD Designer / Design Engineer job will involve:

Working within the mechanical engineering team you will produce high quality 2D and 3D engineering drawings, designs, schedules, and diagrams.
You will use a suite of Autodesk / CAD software whilst working on a diverse range of CAD design projects. This includes AutoCAD, Plant3D, Inventor, and Revit.
As part of your role, you will get the opportunity to visit client sites to survey their project requirements (you will even get the chance to use drones!).
