We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Team Leader or Vehicle Technician looking to move into a team leader / service advisor type role. There will be lots of support available from the Workshop Manager and wider management team to support your development within the role.
Your background as a Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Team Leader / Vehicle Technician:
Previous experience in a workshop supervisor or workshop team leader role would be great but this role would also suit a Vehicle Technician looking to develop their career into a workshop team leader / workshop supervisor / service advisor type role.
Previous experience working in a vehicle dealership standard environment (passenger car or commercial vehicles or similar) is preferred.
Great communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Good mechanical / mechanic knowledge and confidence using tools and equipment
A problem-solver with a hands-on, practical approach.
Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Team Leader / Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
Supporting the workshop management team to keep daily operations efficient and productive.
Leading and mentoring workshop staff, helping to build a positive, collaborative culture.
Quoting, scheduling, and invoicing workshop jobs (internal and external).
Ensuring workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and in top working condition.
Overseeing maintenance schedules and addressing repairs as needed.
Liaising directly with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve queries.
Managing stock levels of tools and materials.
