You will ideally have experience as a Warehouse Manager , logistics manager or yard manager in a medium sized business (20 – 40 headcount in the warehouse). You will want a role that mixes office planning with being out & about ‘walking the warehouse’. You will have good people management experience and be accustomed to maintaining high standards when it comes to H&S, 5s, organisation and developing your team

This Warehouse Manager jobs role will suit:

• A Warehouse Manager / Logistics Manager seeking a new challenge with a multi-national and expanding 250 headcount manufacturing / engineering business
• You will ideally need experience of managing warehouse operatives and warehouse supervisors
• Strong organisation experience – able to make sure the warehouse remains efficient, tidy, organised
• You will need to have strong health and safety experience and ideally have worked in an environment where 5s, lean and continuous improvement operations have been strong
• As a strong people manager you will strike that balance of working in the office but also being out on the site being very visible (this is NOT a purely office based job)
• The team is friendly, conscientious and has a ‘can do’ attitude – you will need to share these characteristics as you coach and mentor the team.
