Are you a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician wanting to work in world class automotive engine and emissions research, development, and test facilities? Do you want to work on the testing of the cars of tomorrow - hybrid, EV, fuel cell, hydrogen, IC engine vehicles! Are you a technician working within an automotive or motorsport or vehicle engineering environment?

This Vehicle Technician job will suit:

• Previous experience of working within a technician role in an automotive, vehicle engineering, or motorsport environment.

• You will need to hold a relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, motor vehicle or similar engineering discipline.

• You will need to hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

• A good standard of IT skills is required to competently use IT and software systems. 

This Automotive Test Technician will involve:

• To prepare, set up and carry out tests on a diverse range of vehicles (hybrid, EV, fuel cell, hydrogen, IC engine vehicles) within world class automotive powertrain / propulsion research and test laboratories.

• Installing vehicles onto chassis dynamometers to complete engine and emission tests.

• Carrying out vehicle engine and emission tests on chassis dynamometers.
