Trainee Commissioning Engineer

• Mechanically biased, field role that would suit a Junior Fitter / Engineer who is looking to develop a career within commissioning.
• Head office is based in Warwick and will require occasional visits, however you will mostly be based from home and travel to UK sites.
• Full product training provided, some of which is undergone in Germany so flexibility is required.

We are working with an established engineering manufacturer who are undergoing strong levels of growth. As a result, they are keen to bolster their commissioning team and offer the right person a clear career path within the business. You will work on large engineering projects and receive significant training / support along the way.

Salary Guideline: c£32,000 per annum + Company vehicle / allowance. Likely to be on c£40,000 per annum once fully trained. 7% employer contribution pension. Overtime paid on any weekend work if required (rare).

The Trainee Commissioning Engineer job will involve:

• Testing, Commissioning and Servicing of engineering equipment at Customer sites throughout UK.
• Attend Design Review Meetings within Engineering Department.
• Assist with producing relevant record documentation throughout the Testing, Commissioning & Servicing period.

This Trainee Commissioning Engineer job will suit:

• A Junior Maintenance or Service Fitter / Engineer with good mechanical engineering knowledge. Some electrical knowledge would be a bonus.
• Someone who is keen to progress within a commissioning role and undergo further training / qualifications to succeed.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home on customer projects.
• A Drivers Licence is required for this position.

This job is commutable from Warwick and the surrounding areas.
