​Toolmaker

• Skilled Toolmaker job machining injection moulding tools.

• Responsible for using a range of CNC and manual machines to manufacture tools.

• Secure business with great length of tenure amongst the staff.

Toolmaker position to manufacture tools used within injection moulding. As Toolmaker, you will be using a range of machines. These machines include surface grinders, cylindrical grinder, manual lathes and mills. CAD CAM experience is needed for this role due to the nature of tools being fairly bespoke.

Salary & Package:c£40,000 to £48,000 as a guide + OT + 25 days holiday + wider benefits.

This job will suit:

• A time served Toolmaker or CNC Machinist with programming experience.

• Manual machining skills, such as using lathes / grinders / mills.

• Someone who enjoys different projects and has a genuine passion to resolve engineering challenges.

The job will involve:

• Machining to a high standard on a range of toolroom machines‍

• The manufacture of full mould tooling and modular systems in steels and alloys to a high standard

• The assembly and fitting of tooling elements‍

• Modifications and refurbishment of existing mould tooling‍

• Servicing and repairs of mould tooling

• Manufacture of jigs & fixtures to support the mould shop
