​Technical Director

• Technical Director jobs role ; chief engineer / chartered engineer role

• Swindon /Chippenham but flexible with some hybrid / work from home

• You must have experience of large mechanical CAPEX projects (so project management of large mechanical plant / equipment)

• Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer (or similar level)

• Process industries ; utilities, power, water, pharma. Ideally water industry experience – the company supplies large water treatment systems to the likes of Severn Trent, Thames Water, Anglian Water etc but we are happy to look at Chartered engineers seeking a full board level jobs role.

This Technical Director jobs role will suit:

• Some experience with large capital projects / capital equipment / high value large mechanical equipment (this is NOT manufacturing small components)

• Ideally experience of the UK water industry – aware of the AMP (asset management plan) cycle. However we are flexible if you have similar capital equipment experience into wider utilities / process industries or a chartered engineer who is ready for the next step in their career.

• Strong project management skills

• Ideally a chartered engineer – ideally mechanical – or similar

• Strong mentoring and coaching ability – working with the engineering team to improve their performance and skill level
