Supply Chain Coordinator Chorley PR6

  • Working knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Word and Excel?

Salary £25,000 - £28,000.  This role is also available on part time basis (pro rota salary)

The Supply Chain Coordinator job will suit:

• Are you a Supply Chain Coordinator with at least 3 years’ experience in supply chain / logistics role
• Do you have good working knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience of international trade will be advantageous

The Supply Chain Coordinator job will involve:

• Placing Purchase Orders with suppliers ensuring on time delivery
• Expedite/De-expedite products from supplier logging timescales within systems to maintain stock levels.
• Resolving with the relevant party any enquiries in relation to supply of product
• Liaise effectively with warehouse employees and third party transport providers, resolving any issues.
• Lead or participate in supplier meetings to drive improvements in performance
• Compilation of ad hoc reports/ad hoc data input

This position is commutable from Chorley and surrounding areas of Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and surrounding areas in Lancashire.
