Supply Chain Coordinator

  • Coordinator position that ties together the supply chain function and engineering function.

  • Unique position, not completely supply chain focused but would suit someone from this background.

  • Process driven role, this person will update systems that tie into the supply chain function off the back of any product changes made by the engineering team. We do NOT need an Engineer for this role.

Are you a process driven individual? Do you enjoy variety, and communicating with a wide range of colleagues?

We are working with a global employer who are experiencing strong levels of business growth. As a result, they are looking for an experience Coordinator to join the team. The role would suit a Supply Chain Coordinator, however it does sit between the Supply Chain and Engineering teams as a focal point for any changes made to the product. Acting as this point, you will need to communicate with a number of key stakeholders so good communicational skills are required.

Salary & Package: Flexible depending on your level of experience. 25 days holiday + banks. Wider development opportunities. Further benefits package available, insurances, vouchers etc. Early Friday finish.

This Supply Chain Coordinator job will suit:

  • A methodical, process driven individual with a good eye for detail and strong administration skills.

  • A good communicator, confident in liaising with various points of contact internally.

  • Supply chain exposure would be useful, familiarity with MRP systems is a bonus but not essential.

  • Previous experience of working for an engineering manufacturer would be a nice to have, but again not essential for this role. Communication and administration skills are what is key.

The Supply Chain Coordinator job’s working environment, opportunities and rewards:

  • Global employer of choice with a strong order book.

  • Personable feel to the site, they have an SME culture on a day-to-day basis.

  • Opportunity to work with different teams, broaden your skills, and not get bored due to the variety.

  • Days based role, early Friday afternoon finish. Excellent wider benefits and competitive salary.

The Supply Chain Coordinator job will involve:

  • Acting as the focal point of contact between engineering function and supply chain function

  • Take ownership of any engineering changes once it has been signed off – making the changes to software to update bill of materials, coordinating new parts, a raft of different aspects you will be involved in.

  • Managing system aspects and managing supply base to engineering change.

  • Using MRP / ERP (SAP / Oracle or similar) systems, working with BOMs

  • Communicating updates to the wider team.
