• Leicester Stores Manager jobs role; manage team of 5 in a friendly environment

• £35 million turnover – needs a Stores manager / warehouse manager to improve tidiness, stock accuracy, pick accuracy, H&S and systems/processes (but nothing broken)

• Well established engineering business that has undergone significant growth. The site is being refurbished with a new stores department being built over the next year so it is an exciting time to be a part of the team.

• 30 days holiday per year

• Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm – some flexibility on hours

• £40,000 - £50,000 approx. guide still TBC. Plenty of overtime available at x1.5 rate.

• Hands on role working with high value plant equipment. Lots of parts are used to build the final product so we need someone who is comfortable working within a varied stores environment.

• The team (5 approx.) are good committed guys who do a solid job.

• It’s the organisation / paperwork, pick accuracy that can be improved on. Also H&S / tidiness.

• We need someone who can help implement new process, improve racking etc.

• H&S is important – we want a warehouse manager who really cares about H&S and really cares about their team and takes pride in the facility.

• Someone to directly support the transition into a new facility. Scope to make a real impact within the stores process as you will be there when the new department is built.

• Because they are high value parts – precision and accuracy in terms of booking in and booking out is absolutely critical.

What we are looking for in this Stores Manager jobs role

• A Stores Manager or Warehouse Manager in the Leicester, Loughborough, Wigston, Coalville, Enderby area.

• A Stores Manager / Warehouse Manager who takes pride in their warehouse. Someone who likes to ensure things are organised, tidy, safe, clean.

• Someone who is hands on in nature, happy to support using a FLT, updating the ERP systems (they use Epicor).

• A good man manager, someone who can communicate across all levels and get buy in from the team.

• Preferably someone who has worked within a plant equipment stores environment (or similar larger machinery / parts). Working within an engineering field is general is preferred.
