Newly created software test engineer / test engineer jobs role in Salisbury. The company manufacture a high tech piece of equipment for highly regulated industries – so the test procedures need to be well managed. There will be hardware and software test; but because the software testing takes longer – that will be the main focus of this software test engineer jobs role.

Software Test Engineer Requirements:

• Are you a Test Analyst, Systems Test Engineer, Software Test Engineer, Hardware Test engineer, automated test engineer, automation tester or software testing engineer seeking test engineer jobs with diversity?
• Are you seeking software test engineer jobs in the Salisbury, Andover, Basingstoke, Fordingbridge, Southampton, Warminster, Shaftesbury, Wiltshire region?
• You will ideally have experience of writing test scripts and performing software and hardware tests. This company manufactures a piece of equipment so the test is on a tangible piece of equipment + software. You do NOT need to have equipment test experience – we are happy to interview candidates who have tested software without the tangible piece of equipment
• Ideally some experience of devops and automated testing (helping companies become more automated) but these are non-essentials.
