The Service Engineer job will involve:

• To successfully service, install and commission electro-mechanical machinery.
• Responding to breakdown calls (customers are mainly along the M1 from Northampton, South).
• Stripping down of hardware. Mending of mechanical faults.
• PLC programming / update / instillation experience would be beneficial.

This Service Engineer job will suit:

• Ideally from a mechanical or electrical background with experience of carrying out reactive maintenance and fault fining on engineering / industrial equipment.
• HNC, HND or degree qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Field service experience is not essential; This role would suit a shift / maintenance engineer looking to get off shifts and be out on the road.
• Someone who’s accustomed to working on the road and a good amount of travel (this is not a UK-wide role, but will still involve a travel within a couple of hours of your home).
