Senior Quality Engineer

Milton Keynes.

£45,000 guideline salary + pension.

Permanent. Daytime Monday to Friday

Senior Quality Engineer job with a manufacturing production engineering business. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for compiling the FAIRs / ISIR’s and submit to the customer and will play a supporting role to Engineering to ensure Quality gates are complete and milestones are met. This is a small batch and prototype high precision engineered metal components business. Hands on quality engineer role.

£45,000 guideline salary plus pension, could suit a person that is ready to step up the next level of their career.

The job will involve:

• Support the engineering team during new product introduction, involving PPAP style quality processes, ensuring quality gates and milestones are met.

• Compiling FAIRS and ISIRs for submission to the customer.

• Troubleshooting and problem solving quality concerns identified by the quality inspector, and responding to any customer concerns / NCRs.

• Overseeing the work of the quality inspector.

This job will suit:

·A hands on engineer with experience of high tolerance high precision components.

·Knowledge of quality processes similar to PPAP, APQP, FAIRS, ISIRs.

·Able to read drawings.

·Any CADCAM skills or CMM skills would be helpful but not essential.

• An organised and milestone focused person that enjoys the new product, prototype small batch environments.
