Senior Quality Assurance role or Senior Quality Engineer role. Organising the Quality Assurance team day to day in an engineering manufacturing business. Supporting the Quality Manager, the Senior Quality Engineer will ensure the QMS Quality Management System activities are completed, and that colleagues through the manufacturing engineering business are supported with Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance activities.

·Ensure that Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering documentation is completed, and that all Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering processes required for compliance with the QMS Quality Management System are completed.

·Liaise with customers and with suppliers relating to Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering quality concerns which require action and closing out.

·Updating processes to improve Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering processes and documentation/

·Involvement win Internal Audits and External Audits.

Key skills and experience for the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer:

·Understanding of manufacturing quality processes used in automotive IATF TS16949, ISO9001 and professional quality systems. Alternatively quality systems used in aerospace like AS9000.

·Problem solving tools like APQP and PPAP.

·Data collection or SPC in an engineering or manufacturing workplace.

·Some experience of quality assurance Internal Audits in the manufacturing engineering production facility.

This job is commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Willenhall, Birmingham, Oldbury, Dudley and Great Barr.
