As Senior Functional Safety Engineer you will have a key role in executing functional safety activities. This will include; developing safety concepts, requirements and architecture; coordinating and/or executing safety analyses (FMEA, FTA etc…); hazard identification, analysis and risk assessment; delivering consultancy and guidance.

• A Functional Safety Engineer / Systems Engineer / Software Engineer / Electronics Engineer with previous experience of working within an embedded systems environment.
• Experience of working on safety related systems would be beneficial.
• We are not necessarily looking for a candidate with functional safety experience; this role is open to candidates that are looking to pivot into functional safety to work on automotive R&D projects.
• You are likely to be degree qualified in a mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering or similar science based subject area.
