• A Multi-skilled design engineer with some experience of mechanical design and possibly electrical design as well

• Experience or a desire to have a job that is wider than just design which will include R&D, innovation, systems design, cost analysis, dealing with suppliers etc.

This Senior Design Engineer job will involve:

• Design and ongoing re-evaluation/cost analysis of existing products.
• Produce system designs and costings for new projects ensuring compliance to all relevant standards whilst achieving or exceeding estimated sales margins.
• To specify suitable standard products, based on client’s information.
• Updating and maintenance of Companies in house technical database.
• Oversee and take responsibility for Companies CAD department.
