​Senior Design Engineer, Warwick

• Up to £48,000 salary commensurate with experience + flexible and hybrid working + 7% pension + 25 days holiday.

• Lead Design Engineer responsible for Plant Layout design of machinery / automation systems.

• Established, successful and growing engineering business with a passionate and professional team.

Senior Design Engineer job will suit:

• Previous experience of working within a process design environment.

• Experience of designing plant layouts to install machinery is essential for this role.

• Experience of using SolidWorks CAD or a similar 3D CAD software package such as Creo or Inventor.

• You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Degree) in a mechanical engineering or similar engineering-based discipline.

This Lead Design Engineer job will involve:

• Using 3D CAD systems to design layouts, models and drawings.

• Produce plant layouts and diagrams suitable for project tenders.

• Creating accurate production drawings for ease of manufacture.

• Visiting customer sites to survey existing structures and to discuss project briefs.
