Sales Support Customer Account Manager

Office based, communicating on the phone and email, order taking, order inputting and tracking orders through to completion.

£33,000 + pension

Crewe. Permanent. Daytime. Mon-Fri

The Account Manager is a sales support administration and communication role; the main point of contact with the customer involving telephone and online communication, taking orders, inputting orders, providing performance updates for each customer and following progress of the order through the manufacturing process right through to despatch and delivery to ensure 100% OTIF. The job is suited to someone that’s worked in sales support, production planning, or a fast-paced sales administration.

•The Account Manager role is a mix of telephone communication, order inputting and using completer-finisher approach to proactively keeping the customer informed about progress of the order through the processes.

•Advising the customer about delivery dates and delivery schedules in advance and confirming accuracy of requirements.

•Working with colleagues, discussing order progress, attending production planning meetings.

This B2B Customer Account Manager role will suit a person that:

•Confident with discussing orders with customers and proactively keeping them informed verbally and also with documents.

•Has and eye for detail with order taking, order input, and identifying changes.

•Is confident around a manufacturing facility and an office workplace.

•Has had experience of using Microsoft office, spreadsheets MRP / ERP systems (training provided with the specific systems used by this company) and EDI systems.

£33,000 + pension. Hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

This is job is commutable from Congleton, Northwich, Knutsford, Sandbach, Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, Nantwich, Holmes Chapel, Staffordshire, Cheshire.
