  • Responsible for managing a team of 5 Internal Sales Executives.

  • Would suit an experienced Sales Coordinator or possibly a Customer Service Team Manager.

Are you an experienced Sales Office Manager looking for a new challenge? We are working with a highly reputable, established manufacturer who are experiencing strong growth. This newly created position offers stacks of variety and would suit someone who is flexible, organised, and proactive in nature.

As Sales Office Manager, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the internal sales team are delivering to targets on a day-to-day level. Wider duties include improving the sales order processes, managing suppliers, and working alongside the stores team. This is occasionally a hands-on role due to the interaction with stores, so experience of working within a manufacturing environment / knowledge of a stores department is essential due to the company processes.

Package & Hours: Competitive Salary depending on experience. 22 days holiday + bank holidays. 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm finish on a Friday. Some flexibility around these hours should you wish to start earlier.

This Sales Office Manager job will suit:

  • An organised individual who comes from an Internal Sales Management, or possibly a Sales Coordinator, background.

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing business. You will interact frequently with the stores and production departments in this position and will need to be comfortable with this dynamic.

  • Strong communicator and used to working within a fast-paced environment. You will be frequently liaising with customers, suppliers, stores, and colleagues at all levels.

  • Specific knowledge in the woodworking sector would be an advantage, but not essential.

The Sales Office Manager job will involve:

  • Managing the day-to-day deliverables of the internal sales team and reporting to the Managing Director.

  • Providing high levels of service to customers, processing orders, and managing quotations.

  • Working closely with the stores team to monitor stock and ensure sales orders are delivered to schedule.

  • Managing suppliers to ensure materials are delivered to schedule and that there are minimal bottlenecks.

  • Organising and triaging the sales email account to help improve the order process.

  • Training and developing staff where required. The team are largely experienced so this will involve more upskilling than training new staff.

This job is commutable from Long Eaton, Beeston, Nottingham, Ilkeston, Castle Donington, Loughborough.
