Quality Manager / QHSE Manager, £60K - £65K, Commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham

This Quality Manager job / QHSE Manager job is 90-95% focused on quality management, 5%-10% health, safety, and environmental management so could suit a Quality Manager or QHSE Manager or Quality, Health, and Safety Manager with a manufacturing or engineering background.

Your background as a Quality Manager / QHSE Manager:

You will have previously worked in a Quality Manager, Quality, Health, and Safety Manager, QHSE Manager role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO9001 quality management, additional experience of ISO14001 is advantageous.
We are looking for a Quality Manager that can understand the ethos, culture and values of a SME UK manufacturing business and drive QHSE (specifically quality management) to align with the business, not the other way around.
A strong focus on building strong internal and external relationships (customers, supplier, internal engineering, manufacturing & supply chain teams) and taking ownership of driving quality management best practice throughout the business.

Quality Manager / QHSE Manager responsibilities:

Take ownership and lead on Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO9001, 14001 and specific industry standards) –
90%-95% focus on quality management with a strong focus on supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality.
Leadership and ongoing development of small team (3 people – Quality Engineer and Quality Technicians).
Develop strong working relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to influence quality management best practice throughout the business.
