Are you a Quality Inspector, trainee Quality inspector or someone seeking NDT jobs / inspection jobs? This quality inspector jobs / quality technician jobs role would suit someone from the engineering and manufacturing sectors – ideally involved with NDT.

Main Responsibilities

Taking a Pro-active role in the development of the right first time'approach

To identify root cause and preventative action for non-conformances, and to be a Problem-Solving lead

To have an active role in Process & Quality System Auditing, through surveillance checks on documentation, tooling and equipment.

Responsible for compiling, analyzing and preparing Inspection Plans

To liaise with Production, Production Engineering and Engineering Support Teams on product issues.Wherever possible work closely with Production to prevent defects through application of best practice

Co-ordinate the in-process inspection and surveillance of products from Good Inwards and through the manufacturing process, ensuring that Process & Product checks/ inspections are undertaken. Including first of batch acceptance check

Essential Experience

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings

• Previous Inspection experience in a similar industry

• knowledge of inspection methods and processes.

• Exposure to NDT would be desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
