Quality Inspector job vacancy for a CNC quality technician or precision machining CNC quality engineer with the ability to read technical drawings and use dimensional measurement tools like micrometres, calipers, vernier, and some experience with CMM, coordinate measuring machines or Faro Arm.

·Lots of new equipment in the inspection area, and also investing in additional new equipment.

·Some flexibility on shift patterns; additional £150/week shift allowance for regular afternoon shift (2.00pm-10.00pm), also some £150/week for shift patterns alternating each week between mornings (6.00am-2.00pm and afternoons (2.00pm-10.00pm).

·Parking on site, and they are not in a town/urban traffic-jam area. Easy to get to.

·Profitable growing business, globally recognised customers.

·Components are typically turned/threaded bar or hand-sized components (lots of turned parts, plus some milling and boring).

·Training on CCM can be given if you’ve not used their specific machine before. They have Mitutoyo CMM which they use mainly, plus FARO arm, andmicrometres, calipers, vernierhand tools.

·There is the capability for lights-out inspection too.

·Typically 10% inspection / 90% visual inspection.

·This job will suit a person that enjoys quick paced inspection of high precision but fairly straight forward CNC machined components. Batches are typically 50-100, but sometimes larger numbers of smaller items, and occasionally low volume specialist items.
