The Quality Engineer will focus on data analysis, trend monitoring and root cause analysis in an engineering manufacturing assembly company.  Quality Engineering tools will include FMEA, 5Y, and 8D problem solving to identify the root cause of non-conformance in the manufacturing assembly process.

The business is a respected manufacturer with strong market share that has shown growth in 2020.  The product range is manufactured in low-medium batch, medium-high variety, and has a varied bill of materials.  The key skill set for the Quality Engineer will be root cause analysis, problem solving, data driven decision making and a drive to defects out of the manufacturing process.  Using data analysis of manufacturing quality information, you will use your own initiative and Pareto tools identify where to focus your Quality Engineer and problem solving efforts to make the most valuable improvements to production assembly process.
