Quality Assurance Manager for a business with office working and also hands-on operations workspace.  The core focus for the Quality Assurance Manager will be quality systems and documentation for ISO9001, health and safety, and environmental standards.  This involves taking responsibility for the Quality Management System, and helping others in the business to understand their role in the practical delivery of health and safety, and helping colleagues to engage with quality assurance processes as part of the continuous improvement and customer-first culture.

·Manage and upkeep of the ISO9000 accreditation.

·Working with colleagues to collect quality assurance data and drive measurable improvements to areas like order picking accuracy, reduced damage, reduction in near-miss etc.

·Improve and develop processes for areas like risk assessment, identifying opportunities to improve work spaces to improve quality and/or H&S, and to help drive towards having the most effective work environment.

·Developing and coaching colleagues towards best practice on quality processes and health and safety.

Key skills and experience for the Quality Assurance Manager job

·Experience of running and ISO accredited quality management system

·Knowledge and experience of workplace health and safety.

·Helpful qualifications and training could involve a combination of Quality Auditor, IOSH/NEBOSH, Risk Assessment etc
