Ideally need a proven Quality / H&S Manager who comes from a Manufacturing background.
Are you an experienced QHSE Manager, Health and Safety Manager, or Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? We are working with a reputable, established manufacturer who are experiencing strong growth. In order to help continue this upward trend, they are looking to improve their QHSE function. The company are looking to develop their H&S strategy whilst promoting a strong health and safety culture. Lots of variety within this position with scope to implement your own ideas.
Salary: c£45,000 per annum as a guide – possible flexibility around this. Hybrid work schedule.
This Health and Safety Manager job will suit:
Proven experience within a H&S role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Developed H&S Management systems to achieve accreditation. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 1400, 45001 would be a bonus.
NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing / continuous improvement would be an advantage.
Good communication skills / man management experience.

The SHEQ Manager job will involve:
Develop, implement and maintain an effective and robust health and safety strategy and appropriate management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Promote a culture of health, safety and environmental responsibility across the organisation. Establish effective communication and consultation for health and safety matters.
Carry out and maintain company risk assessments and undertake regular internal safety and quality audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
Oversee investigations and appropriate reporting of H&S incidents. Undertake root cause analysis and preventative action planning.
Responsible for the development and delivery of appropriate QHSE training for employees.
Manage the organisation’s quality, environmental and continuous improvement management systems.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation by developing employee engagement in quality initiatives.
