Purchasing Manager with an established, successful manufacturing company who supply to industries which include Power Generation, oil & gas and other industrial sectors

As Purchasing Manager you will play a pivotal role within the business and is responsible for managing the companies entire supply chain to ensure the right materials are available for production as required.

This Purchasing Manager job will suit:

• Knowledge of engineering materials, ideally steel
• Experienced negotiator
• Strong communicator – relationship builder
• Experienced purchasing background
• CIPS qualified – desirable

The Purchasing Manager job’s working environment, opportunities and rewards:

The Purchasing Manager job will involve:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with all suppliers
• Source and order all raw materials
• Review the companies antiquated purchasing system with a view to implement a more efficient and up to date system
• Research new materials
• Stay informed of developments and market activity on a global level
• Negotiating pricing and payment terms

This job is commutable from Loughborough, Shepshed, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and surrounding areas.
