​Project Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer who wants to become a Project Manager. Ideally you will have experience of working within either the engineering, marine or oil & gas sectors. Product training can be provided. A flexible, team playing attitude is what is important to this business. Work with a diverse customer base that has a global reach. Well established engineering group who are undergoing growth.

Salary: c£40,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience. Hybrid working. 23 days holiday + banks. Bonus.

This Project Engineer job will suit:

• A Project Engineer who is keen to develop into a management position.

• Previous experience of working on projects within the marine or oil & gas sector would be ideal, but not a deal breaker. Some engineering project experience is required.

• Flexible in approach and a strong communicator. Organised in nature and process driven. Someone who values customer service highly.

The Project Engineer job will involve:

• Manage customer accounts to ensure projects are delivered to standard and timescales agreed.

• Responsible for the project planning stage until the completion of all contractual delivery obligations on engineering projects.

• Coordinate activities with the wider team and ensure all documentation is correct relating to projects.

• Communicate with several contacts and departments to achieve goals.
