Production Team Leader, Leicester.

£32-35,000 + pension.

Permanent. Daytime Monday to Friday.

No shifts. Early finish on Fridays.

Production Team Leader in a manufacturing factory business. Small friendly manufacturing engineering production business. Reporting to the manufacturing operations production manager, the Production Team Leader is a hands on manufacturing shopfloor job:

·Team Leader of a manufacturing team of 20 including machine setters and manual assembly operatives.

·Day to day and hour to hour problem solving and process improvement, making sure everyone has what they need to get the job done.

·Working with colleagues in stores and production planning to keep the manufacturing work-flow running on time, and delivering to customers in full.

·Supporting the manufacturing team by making decisions when a change of plan is needed, for example problems with equipment, bottlenecks or unexpected staff issues.

This is a small friendly team that work well together, with plenty of people in the team that know their job really well. People leadership and managing the whole person is equally important as having experience in a manufacturing assembly or production engineering company.

Career prospects are strong; the company has a strong order book spread across several industry sectors, it has a bespoke product, and there are opportunities for promotion in the medium term.

£35,000 + pension. Daytime Mon-Fri. Early finish on Fridays. Lots of support to get you up to speed. Small friendly, experienced team with very little staff turn over.

This job is commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and Leicestershire.
