Production Operations Manager to join a manufacturing business. The Manufacturing Operations are growing, and this Production Operations Manager will focus on manufacturing efficiencies and production team development. Core activities and production operations deliverables:

·Manufacturing productivity decision making in terms of production batch size versus changeovers, buffer stock, scheduling and planning.

·Development of production leadership by up skilling manufacturing supervisors, increasing problem solving, decision making and helping them to establish what good looks like.

·Working closely with Production Process Engineers and Manufacturing Team Leader Supervisors this is a highly visible Production Operations Manager role.

Salary & Package: Guideline £65,000 + benefits, with some flexibility for the right person

This job will suit a Production Operations Manager with:

·The ability to make decisions about batch size and buffer stock, communicating these decisions and ensuring the plan is followed through with labour planning, and a balanced outcome of WIP costs and efficiency.

·A visible manufacturing leader, able to guide supervisors and team leaders, and be a beacon of what good looks like in terms of work place disciplines, clear and regular communication about shift targets, acceptable behaviour and praise where it is due.

This job is commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Telford, Stourbridge, Kidderminster and surrounding areas.
