·The Production Manager leads a welding and fabrications manufacturing factory.They weld assemble and fabricate steel structures and process equipment.So experience of fabrications, welding and assembly of medium to large manufacturing would be the ideal skill set.

·Production Management responsibilities include health and safety, staff management and training, quality and production targets for on time delivery within budget.

·This is a factory workshop based Production Manager vacancy for a person with management, welding and fabrications skills.

Salary level is negotiable for the right skills guideline £35,000-40,000, but for specific experience it could be negotiable.

The business encourages a “safety” first culture on the shop floor and there will be also be some opportunities with Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing activities.

This job will suit:
