Are you a proven Production Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor / Team Leader from an engineering / sub contract CNC background? Do you enjoy developing people and making process improvements? If yes, then this may be the ideal job for you.

Salary:c£45,000per annum as a guide.

The Production Manager job will involve:

• Man management and development of the CNC Machinists. Responsible for allocating work loads accordingly and motivating staff to increase productivity.

• Ensure customer orders are delivered to schedule and to the required quality standards.

• Monitor H&S procedures, PPE requirements etc. to ensure staff minimize any potential risks.

• Working alongside other internal departments to plan and schedule projects efficiently.

• Drive quality improvements with the help of Inspectors.

• Proven management / supervisory experience within a manufacturing capacity.

• Understand the demands of working within a sub contract manufacturer. Ideally you will likely come from a CNC machining or fabrication background (though not essential).

• Strong communicator and motivator of staff.

• Able to deliver a quick / efficient turnaround on projects and ensure work flows smoothly throughout production.

This job is commutable from New Mills, Stockport, Buxton, Manchester.
