This Manufacturing Manager jobs / Production Manager jobs role will suit:

• Manufacturing background (ideally assembly)
• Any exposure to manufacturing construction products would be great but NOT required.
• Ideally experience of assembly based manufacturing rather than making components on a piece of equipment (this is medium volume assembly).
• Accustomed to working within an expanding SME (whilst this is a massive new facility and part of a PLC it’s growing so you will need to still be a ‘doer’)
• Ideally having demonstrated good length of tenure – with this NOT being a turnaround and with the culture of the business it would be great if you’ve demonstrated stability and loyalty in your career
• A good handle on lean. Accustomed to managing a budget. Good people leadership (managing production supervisors and team leaders). You will also manage stores and inventory.
• Hands on and ‘make things happen’ mentality in a fast and agile business
• A Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager who is commutable to the Cambridge, Essex, Colchester, Chelmsford, Bishop’s Stortford, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree region
