Expanding SME. Lead a small team of electrical assembly and mechanical assembly engineers. Project management of diverse BOMs and driving improvements to the flow of production, reducing bottlenecks, strategic negotiations with suppliers

This Production Manager jobs role will suit:

• A Production manager who has a track record of improving engineering SMEs
• Alternatively you could be a Production Supervisor or Production Engineer with good project management skills who wants to either make a step up, or work for a business where you can have a big impact.
• Experience in engineering / manufacturing SMEs with low to medium volume assembly and manufacture would be highly beneficial, giving that “wear a number of hats” experience.
• Track record of making practical improvements in that engineering SME context, driving some lean / continuous improvement activities and making improvements to the production flow / structure / organisation
• Please note this is a successful, friendly and conscientious business. It’s NOT a turnaround situation. There will be some low hanging fruit that will give you a good impact in the business but overall it’s an evolution rather than revolution that’s required
