£45,000-£50,000 + pension

Mechanical Production Engineer to create production engineering work instructions for mechanical fitters, develop jigs and tooling for mechanical fitters to use in the strip down and rebuild of mechanical engineering assemblies.

§36½ hour working week.

§£40,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Production Engineer

§As a Production Engineer, improve strip down and rebuild processes.

§Create mechanical production engineering work processes and work instructions.

§Contribute to process improvement, and lead continuous improvement as a Production Engineer.

§Bring the Production Engineering skillset to the team, including process improvement, development of production engineering tooling and assembly jigs, develop production engineering work instructions for fitters.

§Production Engineer skills that would be ideal include experience of reading CAD drawings, be able to create Production Engineering CAD Drawing for assembly tooling and jigs.

§The Production Engineer will need to be a qualified engineer with an apprenticeship, HNC, HND or degree probably related to Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering, but experience as a Production Engineer could be more important.

§36½ hour working week
