Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager. Modern business with a global supply chain, delivering purchasing and supply chain management for high customers in multiple sectors.

·Joining a well-known, professional business with global reach.

·Strategic thinking, generating innovative working methods to keep our purchasing and supply chain function at the forefront of working methods and technology.

·Project Managing change, driving ideas, and delivering projects.

·Strategic management of supply chain, purchasing, framework agreements, supplier contracts, SLA definitions, contracts, and communication channels.

·Note: this is not warehouse management, and is not transport management

·Leadership and development of the purchase and supply chain team members.

·Continuous improvement, increasing efficiency and reducing risk.

·Excellent opportunity for an up and coming purchasing and supply chain professional that thrives on problem solving, project managing new supply chain and purchasing methods, and who can work in a large professional organisation.

·Working as part of the leadership team.

·Full time, 37hrs, Mon-Friday. Flexible start time.

Salary £65,000 + car and pension

This position is commutable from Chorley and surrounding areas of Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan and surrounding areas in Lancashire.
