Procurement Business Partner, Hinckley  

• Procurement Business Partner, Senior Buyer, Supply Chain Business Partner.
• Engineering R&D and technical consulting business working with vehicle manufacturers and new technology start ups.   
• Procurement, purchasing, supply chain, buyer role focused on the procurement of a wide range of materials and services.
• Salary commensurate with experience (£40K - £46K as a guide) plus excellent pension contribution, 27 days holiday plus all bank holidays, bonus, and wider benefits.
• On-going flexible and remote working available.  

This is mainly an in-direct procurement, purchasing, senior role. Procurement of quite complex services e.g. facilities management, telecommunications, utilities, software systems, specific project buying for specialist technical business units e.g. military projects, autonomous vehicles.   

This Procurement Business Partner job will involve:

• You will be joining a collaborative team working culture and will be responsible for end-to-end supply and control of materials and services to ensure best price and delivery to support business requirements.
• Drive procurement best practice and deliver solutions to meet business objectives.
• Negotiate and engage with suppliers and stakeholders on procurement projects.  
• Support specific business units on sourcing projects.
• Carry out audits, drive supplier performance and relationship management.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior members of the team.

This Procurement Business Partner job will suit:

• Ideally CIPS level 5 qualified or working towards CIPS level 5.
• Experience of working within a similar purchasing / procurement environment e.g. engineering, consulting, technical, manufacturing.
• Experience of in-direct buying alongside some direct buying is preferred e.g. procurement of services.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder relationship management experience – you of course need to be an experienced negotiator, but the company works very collaboratively with their suppliers.
• Exposure to project and/or CAPEX procurement would be beneficial.
