Manufacturing Engineer for a production process improvement job vacancy in a metal cutting, laser cutting, sheet metal work, pressings and press brake bending production process. The job is focussed on metal fabrications manufacturing continuous improvement.

Salary &Package: £25-35/hour contractor. 

Metal fabrications manufacturing production factory involving punch, press, fold and assembly.

Semi automated manufacturing processes.

Improving manufacturing production flow, line balancing, troubleshooting bottlenecks, identifying operator skills gaps and arranging equipment training.

Essentially this role is an opportunity to improve manufacturing process flow in a modern factory with some line balancing issues, some new state of the art equipment which is new to a lot of operators, some bottlenecks and the knock on effects.

Salary & Package:£25-35/hour contractor. 

This Process Improvement Production Engineer suitable for person with these sorts of skills:

Lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Experience with sheet metal work, pressings, laser cutting, metal stampings, press brakes and bending.

The ability to focus on troubleshooting and problem solving.

A The job could suit a quality engineer, production team leader or continuous improvement or production engineer, or similar.

Being able to read engineering drawings or have experience of process improvement, or having a hands-on background in sheet metalwork or fabrications and manufacturing manual assembly and the practical understanding of sheet metal work processes, fabrications and manual assembly.
