​NPI Engineer

• Working within an established, growing manufacturer on a range of exciting projects.

• Products are electronics based so some prior experience within a similar industry is needed.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced NPI / Production Engineer to help introduce new ideas and implement processes for new product manufacturing. The company currently have several upcoming projects and look set to continue this growth further. Plenty of scope to come in and make this role your own, whilst receiving full support from the wider team.

Salary & Package:c£35,000 to £39,000 as a guide. Profit related bonus. Flexibility around start times, Mostly office based but occasional flexibility once up to speed with the role. Days based with an early Friday finish – the company have employee well being at the center of their values so no unsociable hours / weekend work required.

The New Production Introduction Engineer job will involve:

• Providing designs and processes to the manufacturing team, ensuring timescales / quality / costing is to the correct requirements.

• Working closely with the design engineering team to support DFM activities, taking the product from concept through to production.

• Promote lean manufacturing / continuous improvement tools where possible.

• Identify and support procurement of new tools required for new projects / production.

• An engineering based qualification / apprentice trained.
