Mechanical Engineering Trainer, £40,000 – £43,000, Redditch
£40,000 – £43,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), pension scheme, private medical insurance & excellent training opportunities.
36-hour week - Full-time, permanent role – Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm
A hands-on, technical training role within a leading engineering training provider
Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Technical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Trainer or Engineering Trainer who wants to play a key part in shaping the next generation of engineering talent?
Your background as a Mechanical Engineering Trainer:
Mechanically biased engineer who enjoys developing others.
Solid experience in mechanical engineering and mechanical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and fluid power.
Good communication & interpersonal skills – able to engage and motivate learners.
Previous training or assessing experience is beneficial, but engineers with the right mindset and desire to teach will absolutely be considered.
Already DBS checked / happy to be DBS checked
Full UK driving licence
Mechanical Engineering Trainer responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on training and assessments in mechanical maintenance and core engineering skills.
Support learners across apprenticeship and commercial training programmes.
Help to create, update and deliver training materials.
Track learner progress and complete assessment reports / documentation
Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and safeguarding standards.
Promote a positive, engaging and safe learning environment
