·         Fairly local to Thurmaston, Leicester, Loughborough region; hybrid working once established.

·         Design experience – they used Solid Edge but we are very happy to pivot someone in who has used alternative CAD packages

·         There are 2 jobs. We are happy to look at graduates for the junior role

·         For the more senior role, you will ideally have some experience of designing smaller intricate components / systems (any experience of geometric tolerancing would be great)

·         An ability / interest in working to design tolerances of 10 microns to 30 microns ; using 2mm screws etc).

·         If you have only ever worked designing really large equipment you will need to prove/demonstrate that you can change into this more intricate smaller design world – or have real passion to do so)

·         Reliable, conscientious, good attention to detail. Someone who takes pride in their work. This is a friendly business so you will match these values

·         150 to 200 headcount business so an SME mentality in terms of being a ‘doer’
