Manufacturing Inventory Controller

£30-35,000 + Pension

Production planning, forecasting and inventory management at a manufacturing assemblies business.

•Review the schedule of customer orders in the production plan considering capacity planning, labour and machine availability.

•Optimising the production plan to meet customer demand.

•Work with purchasing to ensure stock and inventory levels match the production plan demands.

•Take responsibility for inventory and stock level accuracy, balancing buffer-stock against over stocking and obsolescence.

•Seek to optimise logistics flow within the business to optimise delivery to production cells and reduce pressure on the onsite storage space and physical inventory movement.

•Liaise with suppliers to improve communications and inbound delivery flow.

This Manufacturing Inventory Controller job reports to the Operations Manager and there will be support and skills development from other managers in the business.

Salary Guideline: £30-35,000 + Pension

Experience Required

•Are you looking for career progression?

•Have you had some experience of working in a factory as a team leader, cell leader or had some experience of planning customer’s orders through a manufacturing business, using MRP/ERP systems like AX Dynamics or SAP or similar?
