£85,000 to 90,000 + car + healthcover + pension

Manufacturing Operations Director to manage and lead Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Environmental / H&S.   

·Leadership of a capable team, the Operations Director will steer the manufacturing operation towards achieving significant growth in productivity and capacity.  This involves new equipment, new process lines, and new product streams.

·Planning ahead on a rolling basis will be a key measurable; planning labour, equipment, materials and organisational infrastructure three to six months ahead.

·This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Operations Director that can get the best from a dedicated and detail focussed team, managing their team work, setting short-term and medium term goals, and communicating the critical path and milestones to delivering company goals.  These milestones will include skills and training, materials supply chain, working closely with new product introduction, working closely with engineers on new equipment projects, etc.

·The product is highly technical and manufactured for a global customer base.  The business is part of a large group, and the Manufacturing Director of Operations will be capable of reporting to a multinational board. 

·This job will be ideal for a person with a degree in an engineering, technical or scientific area, and proven experience of leading and influencing a multidisciplined team towards milestones goals and the execution of big picture goals in a manufacturing business. 

£85,000 to 90,000 + car + healthcover + pension.  Negotiable for the right person.
