Production Operations Director in manufacturing.  Factory and Operations Leadership of the strategic plan for three production manufacturing sites.  The Production Manufacturing Operations Director will take ownership of safety improvements, manufacturing cost downs and increasing production efficiency, and driving training and culture improvements.  This is Manufacturing Operations Director role cover three UK sites, develops people, holds operations managers to account, and embeds higher standards.

 

The Production Manufacturing Operations Director will lead and deliver the factory and operations strategies to target sustainable commercial gain through safe manufacturing processes, efficient manufacturing and productive UK factory operations.

 

Immediate challenges include safety and uptime.  There are also potential quick wins in transport and logistics.  The Production Manufacturing Operations Director will coach the operations managers, and develop staff culture and staff engagement in the manufacturing production operations.

 

They manufacture assemblies for engineering and manufacturing customers.  Experience as a Manufacturing Operations Director or Production Operations Manager is the ideal background.  This Operations Director job is all about manufacturing leadership, employee engagement, development of manufacturing managers and production team leaders, and driving strategies with improve Quality Cost Delivery at strategic level.

 

Production Director, Manufacturing Director, Plant Manager or Opetrations Manager of 250+ heads supplying into aerospace, nuclear, automotive, rail and industrial engineering sectors will be the ideal.
