This Manufacturing Engineer job will suit:

  • We are looking for a candidate that will enjoy a broad role within a production / manufacturing environment e.g. look at process improvements; develop and implement a goods in quality system; quality auditing; management of machine maintenance.  
  • You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of manufacturing / engineering processes.
  • Exposure to ‘quality engineering’ or ‘quality assurance’ would be advantageous.
  • Good computer skills required e.g. able to navigate your way around an excel spreadsheet to analyse data.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to grow with the business.

This Manufacturing Engineer job will involve:

  • Manage and evaluate the day-to-day machine/process requirements to ensuring production needs are met, implementing any changes when required.
  • Manage the routine maintenance, inspection and legal requirements for all machines, MHE and tooling.
  • Manage all aspects of the ISO 9001 process to ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Policy and maintain accreditation, including internal and external quality audits.
  • Implement and manage a goods in inspection process to ensure supplier quality is reported and maintained.
  • Update and create BOM’s when required.
  • Collect and analyse appropriate data within the business to set and achieve KPIs.
  • Ensure all employees receive appropriate H&S training and documents are maintained correctly.
