Maintenance Engineer

£34,500 + overtime

Maintenance Engineer in automotive manufacturing.  Multi skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance engineer, working on a shift rota.  Routine preventative maintenance and also reactive repairs and troubleshooting of machine breakdowns.

• Multi skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Shift based factory maintenance of manufacturing machines with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, plc controls, fluids and lubricants.
• 3 shift system Mon-Fri 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 plus overtime.  Also sometimes working different hours if the team needs to pull together on a big repair or on a planned project.
• Professional team, in an automotive manufacturing business that has been awarded new contracts by its customers.

Pay level:  £30,000 base + £4,500 shift pay + pension + overtime.

Ideal skills and qualifications include as much of the following as possible; maintenance of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics and fault finding on plc controllers involving HMI fault codes and fault finding.
