​Logistics Operative

• Working within the Goods In / Despatch Team as a Logistics Operative for a large engineering business.

• Permanent Day shift role with an early Friday finish.

• Overtime readily available.

Seeking an experienced Logistics Operative or Stores person with a good eye for detail and enjoys being hands. As Logistics Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring parts are despatched correctly.

Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 per annum as a guide. OT available within this role. 37 hour week. 5% pension. Healthcare, life insurance.

Hours: Day Shift Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 12:30

The Logistics Operative job will involve:

• Receiving parts into stores

• Packing parts to customer requirements

• Preparing parts for despatch

• Booking shipments on to courier systems

• Loading lorries with packed goods

This Logistics Operative job will suit:

• An experienced Logistics Operative or Stores Person who has worked within a warehouse / stores environment.

• Someone who is organized and can manage various tasks.

• FLT experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
