• A Head of Engineering, Chief Engineer, Chief Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver design and development projects into manufacturing.
• You will be managing a mix of both electrical engineers and mechanical engineers.

• You are likely to be degree qualified in an electrical/electronic engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• The company work on UK Defence projects so it is a requirement of this role that you have to be a sole British Citizen to obtain the relevant level of security clearance.

The Head of Engineering job will involve:

• This is a senior leadership role reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director.
• Leadership, continuous improvement and development of the engineering team and processes.
• Assessing customer technical requirements / consulting with customers to agree technical specifications / project requirements and drive projects forward through the engineering team accordingly.
• Resource planning and management (team utilisation), ensuring all projects are resourced as appropriate.
