About you / Your background

 

• Someone who can be visible in the office – so within 30/40 miles of Wymondham Norwich – able and happy to be in the office 3 to 4 days per week approx. (sometimes less with travel and we are flexible but we need that visibility with the team)

• A problem solver. Someone who is pro-active and will spot problems before they arise. Common sense is essential

• Friendly, good sense of humour. 

• An SME track record. This is a small professional and structured business. We want (and need) someone who is still at the ‘coal face’. When someone is away you will help ‘man the phones’. You will be a ‘doer’ / hands on SME focused person. 

• Ideally some experience of B2C. The customers are the general public. This comes with some challenges so experience of managing / dealing with the general public would be beneficial (maybe multi-site retail, hospitality etc) 

• We want someone who believes in the grass roots. You will likely want to do every function in the business so you can really understand and appreciate it properly. The MD started this way and values that approach. 

• Good IT / systems experience. 

• Ideally some remote management / multi-site experience. 

• Overall though, we are pretty flexible on industry / background. If you thrive in an SME environment, have demonstrated length of tenure / loyalty in your career and have good operational / organisational and problem solving skills we will be happy to progress
